Marcin Rachwał – Ph.D., graduated in political science and history from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. My research interests are focused on the issues of democracy, political elites, election law and civic society. My interests also involve matters of the political transformation in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. I am the author of dozens of papers and a monograph Demokracja bezpośrednia w procesie kształtowania się społeczeństwa obywatelskiego w Polsce [Direct democracy in the process of formation of a civic society in Poland] (Warszawa 2010).
